The Christmas in Ida Festival opens its' doors to the world on Friday evening with a Commemorative Concert featuring the sensational and exciting Saline Fiddlers of Saline Michigan held at the historic St. Joseph Catholic Church.

The Saline Fiddlers will perform an energy packed production that will bring Holiday warmth, joy, and good cheer. Forty-two teenagers will perform a variety of music including traditional American Folk fiddle, bluegrass, western swing, Celtic, and Christmas music, presenting a concert of music, song, and dance.

Presenting a positive influence by today's wholesome American youth, the ensemble will perform an upbeat inspirational concert that will bring Holiday smiles to the young and young at heart.

Since 1994 members of the Saline Fiddlers have achieved excellence in music while performing across the continental United States performing at the White House, the Kennedy Center, and have toured in Canada and Europe. The have performed with several American music icons such as Reba McEntire, Chely Wright, and Mountain Heart. The Saline Fiddlers were a huge sensation in Germany this past summer.

The Saline Fiddlers perform eighty concerts a year and participate in youth music education workshops and concerts while balancing their high school activities in Saline, Michigan.

The concert is in cooperation with the Cornerstone Baptist Church, Ida United Methodist Church, Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, St. Joseph Catholic Church and West Ida Immanuel Lutheran Church
