Light Up The Night Fun Run

The "Light Up The Night Run" is held on December 3, 2011 and is a benefit for the construction of a new Ida High School Track. The fun run/walk will precede the start of the Christmas in Ida Parade of Lights and is held during the Family Christmas Fireworks Show.

Runners or walkers are required to "Light Up" using battery powered lights, torches, or reflective material, and run or walk the one and one-quarter mile parade route.

Check in begins at 5:30 pm at the Ida High School Cafeteria. Line up is at 6:10 pm at the front of the parade in Ida Bus Driveway. The run is scheduled to kick-off at 6:15 pm. The entry fee is $15 per person. Entry fee includes a t-shirt and glow necklace for each person.

All runners and walkers ages 10 and over are welcome to participate. Prizes will be given for the "Best Lit" or Decorated. Registration deadline is November 20.

The "Light Up The Night Run" is sponsored by Wayne State University and the hosted by Friends of Ida Track.
